MEDITECH is pleased to announce that Healthcare Policy Program Manager Philip Alcaidinho has been named co-chair of the Health Advocacy Committee at TECHNATION - Canada’s leading national technology association.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me to advance the priorities of our Canadian customers, in a broad and meaningful way,” said Alcaidinho.

TECHNATION is a not-for-profit organization uniting Canada’s technology sector, governments, and communities. It offers professional/workforce development and networking opportunities to its members, while also connecting scale-ups with global tech leaders.

The Health Advocacy Committee was established to promote investment in health information and communication technology (ICT), as well as to represent the interests of the Canadian health ICT industry to government, key decision makers, and thought leaders.

“On this committee, I look forward to contributing further to Canada’s ongoing federal and provincial policy discussions, and to promoting increased investments in health information and communication technology,” said Alcaidinho.

Alcaidinho joins Regional Sales Director Nick Palmieri in holding a position with TECHNATION. Palmieri currently serves on its Health Board of Directors.
