MEDITECH joins Canada in celebrating Digital Health Week (Nov 29 - Dec 5) and all the ways that innovative technologies can improve care access as well as enable patients to manage their conditions, where and how they choose.
Our Canadian customers have been an inspiration as they’ve partnered with us to improve patient engagement and address the unique health challenges of a difficult 2021. Some of these include:
Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, which improved appointment attendance by 67% with their Patient and Consumer Health Portal. Listen to our MEDITECH Podcast, Supporting Mental Health in Ontario.
Southlake Regional Health Centre, which is ensuring the security and accessibility of personal health information through the Canadian Digital Wallet and the Ontario Patient Identity Project.
The Champlain Association of MEDITECH Partners (CHAMP) – a partnership of six hospitals located in Ottawa, Canada – which recently completed a project to develop a Francophone version of their patient portal.
We’re grateful to our customers for their ongoing collaboration and guidance that helps drive MEDITECH’s Canadian Physician Advisory Committee (CPAC), Canadian Healthcare Advocate Team (CHAT), and Canadian Quality Leadership Committee (CQL) programs. And we are committed to supporting their provincial interoperability strategies, such as the Ontario Health Team (OHT) initiative, through our Traverse interoperability solution.
Thanks to all of our Canadian customers, for using technology to better serve their patients and make workflows more efficient for clinicians. For more information on Digital Health Week, visit the Canada Health Infoway website and join in the discussion on Twitter, #ThinkDigitalHealth.
