MEDITECH joins national coalition in support of the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health
The “Sync for Social Needs” coalition unites leading health technology companies like MEDITECH and health systems to standardize the sharing of patient data on social determinants of health.
In collaboration with the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, MEDITECH is supporting the national effort to standardize the sharing of patient data on social determinants of health.
As a member of the newly announced “Sync for Social Needs” coalition — a network of leading health technology companies and health systems — MEDITECH will be evaluating and piloting the integration of specific social screening tools in its electronic medical record systems. The company will work with participants to scale these approaches to lower the burden on clinicians as they look for innovative methods to address patients’ social needs.
