Wellbeing Initiatives
Women's Day
On Women's Day, we hosted a special event in the auditorium to celebrate and empower the women of MEDITECH. The day began with an insightful talk by Gavin from GavSure International, who shared valuable tips on finance and property investment to help our women take control of their financial futures. We also organized a meaningful activity promoting self-love, encouraging reflection and connection. The event ended with small tokens of appreciation for each woman, followed by delicious food and shared stories, making it a memorable and uplifting celebration for all who attended.
New Season - New Hobby
On September 3rd, MEDITECHers gathered for the New Season, New Hobby: Pot Planting Event to explore their green thumbs by planting spekbooms, an eco-friendly and resilient plant. With a helpful demonstration from our gardener, Phineas, participants learned how to properly pot their plants and received valuable care tips. Each pot represented growth and new beginnings. After getting their hands dirty, everyone enjoyed ice cream, celebrating the new season and their budding hobby. Thank you to all who participated—we can’t wait to see your spekbooms thrive!
The Biggest Loser
Launch of MEDITECH's Biggest Loser Challenge! This friendly competition aims to inspire and motivate our staff to come together in pursuit of fitness and wellness goals. Through engaging activities and collaborative support, participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves while fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among colleagues. We believe that promoting health and wellness not only enhances individual well-being but also strengthens our team dynamics, making MEDITECH an even better place to work. Let the challenge begin as we strive for a healthier, happier workplace together!
World Mental Health Day
On World Mental Health Day 2023, our dedicated staff united to raise awareness and support for mental health issues through the #takecareofYOUfrom2 initiative, during which we closed our doors at 2:00 PM to prioritize self-care and mental well-being. The overwhelmingly positive response from employees across all subsidiaries underscores the significance of prioritizing mental health in the workplace. During this time, staff participated in various self-care activities, including outdoor walks, mindfulness exercises, and opportunities to relax and recharge.
