MEDITECH is pleased to announce that two of our customers, Avera Health and HCA Continental Division/HealthONE, were recently named among the Watson Health™ 15 Top Health Systems® for 2021. The annual list recognizes excellence based on analysis of clinical, operational, and patient experience data.
More than 20 MEDITECH customers were featured on the Watson Health™ 100 Top Hospitals® list. Facilities across the United States are scored based on their performance across five different areas — including inpatient outcomes, extended outcomes, operational efficiency, financial health, and patient experience. Over 2,600 hospitals were evaluated using publicly available data from Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MEDPAR), Medicare Cost Reports, and CMS Hospital Compare.
MEDITECH customers also represented 25% of this year’s Everest Award recipients, recognized for having both the highest current performance and the greatest rate of improvement. This year’s winners include:
