The MEDITECH Users Network (MUN) Annual Conference 2025, held on October 1–2 at Liverpool's Titanic Hotel, brought together healthcare leaders, partners, and MEDITECH staff from the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
This year’s theme, “Implement. Innovate. Optimise.”, focused on how healthcare organisations can harness the power of data within the MEDITECH ecosystem to drive smarter solutions, purposeful innovation, and optimised performance. Throughout the event, discussions highlighted the increasing significance of digital transformation in optimising workflows, enhancing decision-making, and improving patient care.
The conference opened with welcoming remarks from Darragh McNally, CIO of Bon Secours Health System, Alan Sherbinin, CEO of MUSE, and Charlotte Scott, Managing Director of MEDITECH UK and Ireland. Scott emphasised, "MUN is a highly anticipated event for us, offering an opportunity to connect, learn, and acknowledge our customers' advancements. This year's theme underscores the collaborative nature of innovation, emphasizing that true progress comes from collectively implementing change and refining healthcare delivery.”
Attendees were also inspired by a keynote address from Mike Cordeiro, MEDITECH Senior Director, Interoperability Market & Product Strategy. His session, "Impactful Data – Powering the Future of Healthcare Through Scalable Innovation," detailed how healthcare organisations in the UK and Ireland are utilising scalable, data-driven innovation to develop smarter, more interconnected healthcare systems.
Beyond the sessions, delegates participated in the MUN Fun Run, a fundraising event for the Owen McVeigh Foundation, a local charity supporting children with cancer — underscoring the strong community spirit of MUN.
