HCA Healthcare named No. 1 Healthcare: Medical Facility on Fortune 2023 World’s Most Admired Companies list

MEDITECH congratulates HCA Healthcare for being ranked No. 1 in Fortune’s list of 2023 Most Admired Companies in the medical facility category. 

HCA Healthcare is one of the nation’s leading healthcare providers, managing 182 hospitals and approximately 2,300 ambulatory sites of care, including surgery centers, freestanding ERs, urgent care centers, and physician clinics, in 20 states and the United Kingdom.

According to Fortune, HCA Healthcare earned top honors by ranking first in Innovation, People Management, Use of Corporate Assets, Social Responsibility, Quality of Management, Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment Value, and Quality of Products/Services. 

A MEDITECH customer for more than 30 years, HCA Healthcare recently signed an agreement for a large-scale implementation of the Expanse EHR platform. The two companies were also recognized by The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) with the distinguished 2021 CHIME Collaboration Award — an acknowledgment of their years of transforming and innovating together.
