World Mental Health Day
On World Mental Health Day 2023, our dedicated staff united to raise awareness and support for mental health issues through the #takecareofYOUfrom2 initiative, during which we closed our doors at 2:00 PM to prioritize self-care and mental well-being. The overwhelmingly positive response from employees across all subsidiaries underscores the significance of prioritizing mental health in the workplace. During this time, staff participated in various self-care activities, including outdoor walks, mindfulness exercises, and opportunities to relax and recharge.
Team Bowling
MEDITECH Australia enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at the Greens Bowling Club in North Sydney, where we held our inaugural barefoot bowls competition, potentially setting the stage for an annual tradition. The event offered a relaxing atmosphere for all participants to unwind and connect with colleagues while enjoying the friendly competition on the green. The day was further enhanced by a delicious BBQ lunch, making it a perfect blend of fun, camaraderie, and good food.
Spring Breakfast
At MEDITECH Australia, we love celebrating the arrival of Spring! This season brings new beginnings and a fresh outlook, and what better way to kick it off than with a delightful breakfast BBQ? A huge thank you to our BBQ King, Peter, for treating us to his famous egg and bacon rolls, which were a hit among the team. It’s moments like these that strengthen our community and create a positive and enjoyable workplace atmosphere. Here's to a vibrant Spring ahead!
International Women's Day
What a fantastic celebration we had for International Women’s Day on March 7th! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, complete with a glass of champagne and gifts for the women, as well as for the men to share with a female companion. The event culminated in an inspiring presentation by Zelda Mycroft from the Chaeli Foundation on #InspireInclusion. The staff members who shared their stories of inspirational women truly made the event memorable and added a poignant touch to the celebration.
