Introducing the Current Stay Dashboard

The new Current Stay Dashboard, available in the patient portal, provides patients and their proxy users, such as family members and loved ones, with real-time access to health and logistical information throughout the patient’s stay. The dashboard includes key details such as procedure status, current medications, care team members, care plan, room location, and more.

Accessible via a dedicated dashboard, the Current Stay features automatically appear when a patient is admitted and disappear upon discharge. Built on the new patient portal platform, the Current Stay Dashboard adheres to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, ensuring it meets the needs of all users. Enabling patients to share their care journeys with loved ones remotely reduces interruptions to the care team by providing proxy users with readily accessible information.

Product goals

  • Reduce the volume of inquiries from proxy users to clinical staff regarding patient status during an acute admission.
  • Improve clinical outcomes by helping patients and their caregivers better understand care instructions and information.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction by simplifying access to crucial clinical and logistical details without contacting clinicians or staff.
