MEDITECH Chief Marketing and Nursing Executive, Cathy Turner, BSN, MBA, RN-BC, explores the challenges and potential impact of integrating AI into healthcare on the delivery of patient-centered services during her podium presentation, Nursing and AI: Balancing Care and Technology, on Thursday, July 18, at 1:05 p.m. EST. Turner will highlight the challenges facing the nursing profession as it grapples with incorporating robotics, automation, and chatbots.
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from HCA Healthcare’s Casey Jepsen, MS, BSN, RN, Director of Nursing Informatics, and Krissy Cockman, MSN, RN, NI-BC, Consulting Informatics Nurse Specialist, as they share strategies for deploying new virtual nursing technologies during their Poster Session, Virtual Nursing: Implementing Innovative Model of Care, on Thursday, July 18, at 4:30 p.m. EST. They will focus on the critical gap between the demand and supply of new and experienced nurses affecting today’s healthcare workforce, and how HCA has achieved such successes as improved completion and accuracy of intake documentation. Results include a 45% response rate increase on one admission form leading to more effective MRSA screening.
