MEDITECH demonstrates newest Expanse innovations at HIMSS23

Join MEDITECH at HIMSS23, April 17-21 in Chicago, IL and see how MEDITECH’s Expanse EHR can elevate the healthcare experience for your clinicians, patients, and communities. Attendees visiting booth #2848 will get a first-hand look at the platform’s cloud-based design - a solid foundation for safer, more sustainable care both today and in the future. 

MEDITECH executives, clinician experts, and team will be there to share customer successes, as well as demonstrate the company’s latest innovations. On Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be 20-minute in-booth demonstrations on the following topics:

• Embedding Google Health’s search and summarization capabilities into clinicians’ workflow, to provide single source access to current and historical patient information. 
• How our Expanse Nowmobile app gives clinicians everywhere access to important messages, notifications, results, and tasks. 
• Using Expanse Genomics to provide patients with targeted treatments and improve outcomes.
• Robust solutions that address population health and health equity, including Expanse Care Compass, and Population Insight. 

Visitors can also attend a special session on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. to learn more about MEDITECH’s  Greenfield Workspace and MEDITECH Alliance programs, which facilitate interoperable product partnerships and third-party app development.

MEDITECH experts, physicians, and nurses will also be available throughout the conference to demonstrate the latest mobile apps for physicians and nurses, new population health solutions, Business and Clinical Analytics, secure texting with Expanse Patient Connect, MEDITECH’s Traverse Interoperability solution, and more. 

MEDITECH’s Interoperability team will also have a much larger presence at this year’s HIMSS23 Interoperability Showcase. They will be featured in three use case scenarios demonstrating how the Expanse technology connects patient information across care settings to drive real-world results. These use cases include:

• Treatment with CommonWell Health Alliance 
• Closed loop referrals with 360X 
• Multi-modality with 360X, enhanced for a cancer patient with new onset metastasis 

You can also find MEDITECH customers presenting at several sessions throughout the conference, including HCA Healthcare, Avera Health, Frederick Health, and Lawrence General Hospital. Topics covered include data governance, usability, interoperability, precision medicine, and physician efficiency and optimization.
