Several MEDITECH customers were recently recognized by The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) as 2025 Digital Health Most Wired recipients. The annual survey highlights organizations' commitment to leveraging digital health tools and technologies to enhance patient care and outcomes and serves as a “Digital Health Check-up” for care transformation.
North Country Healthcare (Whitefield, NH) continues to thrive, earning Digital Health Most Wired Level 9 in both Acute Care and Ambulatory Care for the 2nd consecutive year. CIO Darrell Bodnar attributes the organization’s success to its workforce, which shares a passion for continuous quality improvement.
“This recognition reflects the commitment of everyone at North Country Healthcare who understands that when technology is used with purpose, it strengthens safe, reliable, and compassionate care for the patients and communities we serve,” he says.
As an organizational policy, every member of North Country’s staff receives Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training, driving many of its quality improvement initiatives.
Among this year’s first-time recipients is Willis Knighton Health, which debuted on its first survey with a Level 8 for Acute Care and Level 9 for Ambulatory. Northwest Louisiana’s leading healthcare system operates Expanse across its four hospitals and over 140 clinics.
“Willis Knighton Health is thrilled to achieve CHIME Digital Health Most Wired recognition for both Acute (Level 8) and Ambulatory (Level 9) in our first submission,” says Senior Vice President and CIO Mark Galea. “This recognition highlights our team’s dedication to leveraging digital technology, analytics, and data security to advance clinical quality and safety through our EHR and advanced technologies to improve patient care and outcomes. The achievement reflects our focus on delivering exceptional outcomes, safety, and advanced technology to become the leading provider of healthcare to our Northern Louisiana family.”
Another first-time MEDITECH recipient is Emanate Health, the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in California’s San Gabriel Valley. Emanate debuted on the survey with a Level 7 for Acute Care and a Level 8 for Ambulatory Care.
“Emanate Health is honored to be named among CHIME’s Digital Health Most Wired organizations,” states President and CEO Roger Sharma. “This recognition reflects our commitment to leveraging technology to deliver excellence in patient safety and care quality. We are invested in continuing to drive progress in the digital health landscape and shaping the future of health care technology in a rapidly evolving industry.”
Other MEDITECH customers repeating their successful “Most Wired” journey included Appalachian Regional Healthcare (Lexington, KY), Berkshire Health Systems (Pittsfield, MA), Emerson Health (Concord, MA), Frederick Health (Frederick, MD), Hancock Health (Greenfield, IN), and Valley Health System (Paramus, NJ).
MEDITECH Executive Vice President and COO Helen Waters sees CHIME Digital Health Most Wired as more than just a technology grade.
“Most Wired recipients are passionate about advancing the use of technology to improve the lives of their communities, strengthen engagement, and improve outcomes,” she says. “As CHIME continues to raise the bar from advanced AI capabilities to new healthcare models, our customers continue to rise to the occasion using Expanse as the foundation of their digital health strategy. We remain proud of all customers for their commitment to leveraging the latest solutions for AI, interoperability, and other digital advancements to drive the future of healthcare.”
