MEDITECH welcomes several of the most influential leaders in healthcare and technology to Booth C3318-02 at the HIMSS25 Interop & Smart Experience Pavilion to demonstrate the impact of intelligent interoperability across the patient’s journey. 

January 16, 2025 — 

MEDITECH has released its latest set of Application Program Interfaces (APIs), compatible with version 4 of the United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI), underscoring its leadership in advancing standards-based exchange.

December 11, 2024 — 

December 10th marked an exciting milestone for the state of interoperability in Canada as two of its largest EHR vendors took significant strides toward provincial-wide data exchange. All MEDITECH customers in Ontario connected to MEDITECH’s Traverse Exchange Canada network now have the ability to share patient information with any site in the province connected to the Oracle Ontario eHub, thanks to a collaborative effort between the two vendors. This seamless data exchange saves time, reduces unnecessary testing, and enhances care coordination, leading to better healthcare outcomes.

December 11, 2024 — 

MEDITECH has accomplished a key milestone with its U.S. interoperability network, Traverse Exchange, as its first customers are successfully exchanging health data to help drive more informed care decisions.

In 2024, the number of MEDITECH Alliance members more than tripled, providing customers with significantly more options for integrating proven, successful, and interoperable technologies into their Expanse platform.

October 7, 2024 — 

The HL7 Connectathon brings together a wide range of developers and stakeholders from business and government who work on specific tasks that break down information silos and improve connectivity.

August 27, 2024 — 

Northfield Hospital + Clinics — an independent regional hospital in Northfield, Minnesota with six multi-specialty clinics across southern Minnesota — recently launched patient communication and engagement tools developed through MEDITECH’s Greenfield Workspace.

August 8, 2024 — 

The Traverse Exchange interoperability network positions MEDITECH and its customers well for TEFCA, extending QHIN services through its network via connectivity to the Health Gorilla QHIN.

May 21, 2024 — 

MEDITECH took another step toward its long-term vision of breaking down interoperability barriers across Canada by connecting its first pilot organization, CHAMP (Champlain Association of MEDITECH Partners), to Oracle’s e-Hub.
