MEDITECH is proud to announce Development Manager Jason Vogt has been named as a 2025 Da Vinci Community Champion by the HL7 Da Vinci Project. Nominated by community peers, the organization honored Jason and four other recipients for their contributions to help “accelerate healthcare interoperability, strengthen collaboration, and advance the real-world implementation of standards-based data exchange.”
“I truly appreciate the recognition from the Da Vinci community,” said Jason. “Acknowledging the time and effort spent making the FHIR implementation guides as robust as possible is an honor.”
The community champion program spotlights individuals who embody the characteristics of “industry above self, a passion for making the healthcare system work better, supporting others, and promoting change.” Jason’s dedication to advance healthcare systems through intelligent interoperability reflects these values. He champions MEDITECH’s vision for APIs and interoperability by leading the company’s FHIR API and Structured Documents Interoperability Development team. Throughout his career, he has helped to develop and launch several innovative projects, most notably the Traverse Exchange data exchange network.
Jason is a dedicated advocate for widespread adoption of FHIR standards representing MEDITECH at industry forums, panels, and podcasts. He also serves on FHIR-related committees and workgroups including TEFCA, Argonaut, the FHIR at Scale Taskforce (FAST), and CMS Aligned Networks.
