Leaders at several MEDITECH healthcare organizations were recently named “Critical Access CEOs to Know” by Becker’s Healthcare. The industry publication selected the presidents and CEOs for their commitment to “high care quality, patient safety, and financial stability.”
Located in rural areas, critical access hospitals offer 24/7 emergency care and have no more than 25 inpatient beds. The executives who run these facilities have many responsibilities including provider recruitment and retention, service line management, partnerships, and providing care services needed by their communities.
“Congratulations to all of the impressive leaders recognized for the essential role they provide in keeping their communities healthy,” said MEDITECH Vice President of Customer Experience Carol Labadini. “Critical access hospitals may be small in size but have a tremendous impact in the areas they serve.”
The Becker’s Healthcare list includes several executives recognized for their role in implementing and optimizing MEDITECH Expanse for organizational improvements. Henry County Hospital (Napoleon, Ohio) CEO Kristi Barnd was acknowledged for her strategic vision which has included introducing MEDITECH Expanse for improved care coordination and increased operational efficiencies. Klickitat Valley Health (Goldendale, Wash.)
