MEDITECH attends Health Leaders’ Summit in Ireland

A day of insight and collaboration: MEDITECH attends Technology in Healthcare Conference - The Health Leaders’ Summit 2024 in Ireland.

The recent Technology in Healthcare Conference - The Health Leaders’ Summit 2024 held at the historic Barberstown Castle in Ireland was a resounding success and the MEDITECH team was front and centre, actively participating and contributing to the day's discussions. It was an opportunity to engage with valued clients and partner organisations to exchange ideas and delve into pivotal topics shaping the future of healthcare technology. 

MEDITECH had the pleasure of joining several customers for a panel discussion called The EHR Implementation Update. Hosted by MEDITECH’s Associate Vice President of Client Services Mike Malone, the session featured Eric Neville, EHR Project Lead and CIO of Mater Private Network; Raphael Jaffrezic, Group Transformation Director of Blackrock Health; and Lynn Guthrie, Executive Sponsor, Bons Connect of Bon Secours Health System.

Panelists shared where they are on their paperless journey and discussed the overall governance process based on their goals, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training. 

The conference's iconic venue provided a fitting backdrop for networking and exploring the latest innovations in healthcare technology. The MEDITECH team took full advantage of the vibrant atmosphere, enjoying a day of exhibiting and attending sessions that touched on key industry trends. Other MEDITECH staff in attendance included Executive Director Gina Kerley, Account Executive Jennifer Antoniazzi, and MEDITECH UK and Ireland Sales Consultant, Richard Mangeolles

The diverse range of sessions offered insights into crucial aspects of healthcare technology, with a particular focus on cybersecurity and the role of technology in driving operational efficiencies. The discussions sparked by these sessions were not only enlightening but also showcased the industry's commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements.
