Michelle O'Connor, President and CEO of MEDITECH US, visited Cape Town, South Africa, in January 2025 to reaffirm the company's dedication to healthcare innovation.
During her week-long trip, O'Connor, accompanied by Charlotte Jackson, CEO of MEDITECH International, and Dr. Sushanth Pillai, Managing Director of MEDITECH South Africa, met with key healthcare stakeholders, including the three largest commercial laboratories in South Africa, reinforcing MEDITECH’s ongoing commitment to laboratory information systems (LIS) and digital transformation in healthcare.
Discussions centered on the future of MEDITECH’s LIS and how its innovative solutions are evolving to meet the needs of modern laboratories. O’Connor emphasised the company’s vision for enhancing interoperability, streamlining workflows, and leveraging AI-driven insights to improve laboratory efficiencies.
