MEDITECH Associate Vice Presidents Janet Desroche and Cathy Turner, RN-BC, recently spoke via teleconference with American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA) President Cheryl Parker, PhD, RN-BC, about the company’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Turner and Desroche highlight MEDITECH’s decision to organize an internal task force in January that identified care documentation and Virtual Visits as two key areas where the company would focus its customer support. They explain how those initiatives provided quicker access to clinical data and safer methods of communication between providers and patients.
