Kate Warriner Named to UK’s 2022 CIO 100 List

MEDITECH is pleased to congratulate Chief Digital and Information Officer Kate Warriner of the Alder Hey & Liverpool Heart and Chest NHS Foundation Trusts (Liverpool, England) for recently being named one of the UK’s top IT leaders by the CIO 100.

Recognised for being a leader in healthcare innovation and technology, Warriner leads a multidisciplinary team at one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals. Under her IT leadership, Alder Hey continues to be recognised as a world leader in children’s healthcare and research, treating everything from common illnesses to highly complex conditions.

MEDITECH is proud of its long-term partnership with Alder Hey and its many digital achievements. Most recently, Warriner and her team helped the organisation to become the first paediatric hospital in Europe to be awarded HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7. Alder Hey also recently moved forward with a key component of its Digital Futures Strategy by signing for Expanse, MEDITECH’s state-of-the-art Electronic Patient Record.
