Michelle O'Connor Recognized Among Top 25 Women Leaders in Healthcare Software

For the second year in a row, MEDITECH President and COO Michelle O’Connor was recognized in The Healthcare Technology Report’s Top 25 Women Leaders in Healthcare Software. 

Awardees were selected based on nominations from peers and colleagues, as well as their technical expertise and business acumen. 

“These women exemplify achievement in a hyper competitive industry that seeks to have profound impact across national and global communities,” according to The Healthcare Technology Report announcement.

“The importance of their leadership roles is paramount particularly as healthcare providers increasingly rely on data and technology to improve the way care is delivered.” 

O’Connor was promoted to President in 2019, after serving as MEDITECH’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President. In her current role, she ensures that the company’s Electronic Health Record meets today’s evolving industry and regulatory standards, while providing the optimal user experience for customers. 

“It’s an honor to be named alongside these exceptional healthcare leaders,” said O’Connor. “Working together with local communities and governments, we’re seeking out ways to improve people’s health no matter where they live or what challenges they face.”
