We are happy to share that our long-term customer, Magnolia Regional Health Center (Corinth, MS), received the GHXcellence “Achieving Financial Agility” award from their ePay partner, GHX, a leader in cloud-based supply chain solutions. MRHC has continued to optimize its use of its MEDITECH platform, automating processes in several different areas.
MRHC grew its ePay vendor network from 10 suppliers in 2022 to 22 in 2023, which represents a 35% year-over-year increase in total spend transacted through the solution. As a result, the 200-bed acute care community hospital captured $18,000 in rebates on supplier payments issued between October 2022 – September 2023. The health center has also achieved a 90% best in class ePay compliance rate.
Under the leadership of Executive Director of Finance Haven Caldwell, MRHC committed to enrolling all eligible vendors in electronic invoice delivery (EDI 810) through the GHX ePay solution. Caldwell used standard functionality in MRHC’s integrated Materials Management and Accounts Payable solutions. Shifting from manual, paper-based invoice receipt and handling to automated and electronic processing helps expedite supplier payments, which in turn allows MRHC to generate greater rebate savings.

Caldwell worked on a prior collaboration with MEDITECH and ECHO PayPilot®, adding automation to accounts payable to save time and increase revenue. And, beyond financial optimization Magnolia Regional has also dedicated resources to reducing prescription abandonment to reduce readmissions.
