How MEDITECH and Interlace Health support integrated electronic patient consent

King’s Daughters Medical Center featured in new case study highlighting how Interlace Health's integration with Expanse is benefitting clinicians, staff, and patients.

The partnership between King’s Daughters Medical Center, MEDITECH, and Interlace Health began over 20 years ago. Today, KDMC processes over 160,000 electronic patient consent forms each year, capturing electronic signatures from patients via Interlace’s smart forms and sharing them across the organization in real time via MEDITECH Expanse.

A new case study by Interlace Health highlights the tight integration between Interlace’s electronic consent software and the MEDITECH EHR, and how it is benefitting clinicians, staff, and patients at KDMC.

“It’s now a simple process for us to simultaneously collect clinician and patient signatures and send that information instantly to MEDITECH,” said KDMC Telecommunications Specialist Tammy Means.

The study details the efficiency, safety, and cost benefits KDMC is experiencing with Interlace’s solutions and their integration with the MEDITECH EHR, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
