MEDITECH’s collaboration with Google to leverage AI to reduce clinician burden is highlighted in a new Q&A in Becker’s Healthcare. MEDITECH Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Helen Waters and Global Director of Healthcare Strategy and Solutions for Google Cloud, Aashima Gupta discuss the role of collaboration in achieving healthcare transformation and share their thoughts on some of the biggest opportunities for AI to positively impact healthcare in 2024. The executives also discuss some of their joint projects including the AI-powered Expanse search and summarization capabilities and pilot with Fraser Health to use generative AI to automate clinical documentation.
