How Expanse Point of Care works for you
Expanse Point of Care enables nurses, therapists and other clinicians to perform essential tasks directly at the bedside using a mobile device. Clinicians can carry out the most common care items while accessing data readily available within the electronic patient record. They can review vital patient information, receive alerts of critical patient updates, scan and administer medications, document patient care and utilize Phlebotomy Handheld to collect specimens.
With Expanse Point of Care, clinicians can:
- Collect specimens via Phlebotomy Handheld Solution
- Manage and view patient lists
- Receive notifications of new orders, results, medications and tasks
- View detailed clinical data, problem lists, resuscitation statuses and more
- Access the medication administration record, associated data and protocols
- Scan, acknowledge, review, administer and co-sign medications
- Add, document, and edit interventions and assessments
- Batch document against the same intervention for multiple patients
- Capture images without saving images to the device

MEDITECH is a healthcare software company that provides an electronic health record system to healthcare providers. MEDITECH also powers your access to that information through Expanse Point of Care.
