The MEDITECH Board of Directors and MEDITECH International founder John Tresling have long aspired to establish MEDITECH beyond North America as a global brand. In 2025, MEDITECH Australia celebrated its 21st anniversary, and MEDITECH South Africa will recognize its 44th. These milestones underscore the unwavering commitment to realizing this vision.
Building on these strengths, 2025 marked another year of significant expansion and strategic achievements. As part of MEDITECH’s strategy to leverage and expand international markets, the organization, in collaboration with MEDITECH International, added Fiji as its 29th country with the signing of Aspen Medical.
Additionally, we strengthened the UK market through Expanse go-lives at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, East Cheshire NHS Trust, and HCA Healthcare UK. In the Irish market, we continued to gain ground by going live with Expanse at Bon Secours Health System and starting to implement Expanse at UPMC Ireland.
Our growth in the African market is also notable, with recent go-lives at Aga Khan Health Service Tanzania and Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital in Botswana.
These achievements underscore a commitment to innovation and security, which is further reflected in our customers’ utilization of the latest technology. MEDITECH International also deployed our International Google Cloud Platform, for which we received ISO27001 certification to further enhance our customers’ success in both Australia and the UK.
Engaging in these diverse markets can sometimes present challenges, but we have consistently overcome them through collaboration and the unwavering support of the broader MEDITECH community.
