MEDITECH is excited to introduce Release Notes for Expanse — a dedicated resource designed to help your organization better understand, plan for, and implement priority pack updates with ease.
Release Notes are currently available for PPACKs 2.2.73, 2.2.74, 2.1.85, 2.1.86, and above.
What Are Release Notes?
These notes offer a high-level summary of key enhancements within each priority pack, focusing on features previously showcased during our Expanse Development Roadmap sessions.
- Tailored versions available for both U.S. and Canadian customers
- Quickly preview upcoming changes before they are applied to your system
- Support strategic planning for the rollout of new functionality
- Released on an every-other-month schedule to align with the release of our even priority packs
Release Notes serve as a comprehensive follow-up to every Roadmap session, providing the detailed documentation you have requested.
What This Means for Clinical Highlights
In response to customer feedback, Release Notes will now replace Clinical Highlights. This evolved format continues to provide the visual examples customers value, while expanding coverage to include non-clinical applications as well.
Effective May 28, 2026, all Clinical Highlights links on the Expanse Update Homepage will redirect to the new Release Notes homepage. A reference link to the former Clinical Highlights page will remain for your access to documentation for prior releases.
