Reflecting on the 2025 MEDITECH UK and Ireland Executive Summit

Reflecting on the 2025 MEDITECH UK and Ireland Executive Summit, held recently at Mottram Hall in Cheshire.

MEDITECH recently had the pleasure of welcoming our executive community to the beautiful grounds of Mottram Hall in Cheshire for our annual UK and Ireland Executive Summit — a two-day event designed to inspire, connect, share, and shape the future of healthcare together.

A pre-summit networking dinner provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones in a relaxed setting before diving into the important conversations ahead. Kicking off the following day, the Summit offered a focus on the global evolution of healthcare, honing in on how regional digital advancements are impacting care delivery and shaping outcomes across different markets.

Over the two days, executive leaders explored the future of healthcare technology — not just through broad, global trends, but also through the lens of MEDITECH’s international roadmap. Attendees gained valuable insights into how Expanse is being practically applied across diverse healthcare systems, and how our clients are leveraging it to ensure ongoing optimisation and long-term value.

The sessions sparked dynamic conversations around digital transformation, and the sharing of best practices highlighted the strength and resilience of MEDITECH's user community. It was clear that our collective success lies in collaboration, and that events like this are critical in building alignment around a shared vision for the future.

One of the many event highlights included the keynote address delivered by Peter Bak, Ph.D., CIO at Humber River Health, who presented “The Alignment of the Global Healthcare Industry.” Striking a powerful chord, Dr Bak reminded us that although we work in different regions, the challenges we face are remarkably similar and that global collaboration and innovation are essential for sustainable transformation.

“It was an honour to host such a forward-thinking and passionate group of healthcare leaders,” said Charlotte Scott, Managing Director of MEDITECH UK and Ireland. “This year’s Summit underscored how vital it is for us to stay connected, to share what works, and to continue pushing boundaries together. We’re incredibly proud to support our clients on this journey.”

Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the discussions. Attendees left energised, informed, and inspired for what lies ahead.

"We look forward to continuing these important conversations and working together to deliver impactful, patient-centred digital healthcare,” said Scott. “Until next year — let’s keep the momentum going.”
