American College of Health Data Management Fellowship Program
The American College of Health Data Management (ACHDM) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the field of health data management. Its mission is to promote excellence in collecting, managing, and analyzing healthcare data. ACHDM provides education, certification, and advocacy for professionals who work in health data, helping to ensure that healthcare organizations use data effectively to improve patient care, streamline operations, and meet regulatory requirements.
The ACHDM selects fellows based on their experience in healthcare leadership. Fellows typically have advanced degrees and have spent at least ten years in healthcare including several years in a professional, executive, managerial, or team leader role.

MEDITECH customers selected for fellowship have the opportunity to:
- Submit unlimited thought leadership to Health Data Management for publication, with HDM editors offering editorial support (subject to content approval)
- Attend the monthly Fellow only BONfire get-togethers, held virtually and focused on different topics across the industry.
- Contribute their thought leadership through monthly FELLOWinsight prompts. Fellow submissions, if relevant, will be included in thought leadership pieces.
- Be included in MEDITECH and ACHDM collaborative articles.
- Access to a community of exclusive nomination-only senior leaders from across the continuum of care.
Becoming a Fellow
MEDITECH is working with the ACHDM to elevate the successes and strategies of our customers through the fellowship program. While current fellows can nominate their peers, MEDITECH will sponsor the one-year fellowship cost for five selected customers. We are looking for innovative MEDITECH customer leaders who are focused on innovative strategies for improving care delivery. Customers should be eager to share their stories with Health Data Management, engage with the fellow community, and be willing to commit to at least two published stories over the year.
If you are interested in MEDITECH sponsoring you for the ACHDM fellowship program, please complete our brief nomination application by October 11th. After the nomination period, we will select five customers to sponsor based on application responses. Sponsorships do not auto-renew, so you will not be charged anything after the one-year sponsorship has concluded.
