Joe Coughlin

Joe Coughlin is Vice President of the HCA and International Division. Over his 30+ years at MEDITECH, he has developed a deep understanding of the healthcare and technology industries, a proven track record of nurturing strong customer relationships, and extensive experience in project management and executive leadership.

In his prior role, Joe was an Associate Vice President responsible for HCA implementations while also overseeing licensed customer implementations for all customers across the U.S. and Canada. He began his career in 1992 as a Lab Specialist and progressed through numerous leadership roles, including HCIS Coordinator, Manager, and Director within the HCA Division. 

Joe holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, a Master's Certification in Project Management, and is PMP and CPHIMS credentialed. 

Outside of work, Joe enjoys traveling, golfing, backpacking, and spending summer vacations on Block Island with his wife, Krissy, and sons Nick and Ryan.
