Two MEDITECH Execs Honored As Leading Women in Healthcare
Helen Waters and Hoda Sayed-Friel have been honored as leading women in healthcare.
Two members of MEDITECH’s executive team have been honored as leading women in healthcare for their work in developing and promoting electronic health record solutions.
Health Data Management recently recognized Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing Helen Waters as one of its Most Powerful Women in Healthcare, at an event held May 17 in Boston, MA. Becker’s Hospital Review named Executive Vice President Hoda Sayed-Friel to its list of 110 Women in Medtech to Know 2017.
In her leadership role, Waters leverages a deep understanding of customers' needs and concerns to deploy a cohesive approach to solving healthcare issues, as well as providing customers with the resources and tools they need to reach their organizational goals. She is a highly visible representative for MEDITECH at industry events and speaking engagements, sharing how information systems can improve provider productivity and patient health outcomes.
Sayed-Friel is a leading advocate for the use of IT to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of healthcare. She has spearheaded both national and local efforts to promote the widespread adoption of EHRs, consulting with national leaders on issues ranging from standards development to successful adoption strategies.
