MEDITECH Staff Organize Annual Holiday Giving Program
MEDITECHers are giving back to their local communities more than ever, through their annual staff-run Holiday Giving program.
To commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary, MEDITECHers are giving back to their local communities more than ever, through their annual staff-run Holiday Giving program.
More than 1,000 staff across three states are sponsoring 50 needy families in Massachusetts through the Germantown Neighborhood Center, as well as donating to hundreds of families and kids through Rosie’s Place and the Italian Home for Children. In addition, nearly 70 children will be sponsored through donations to the Justice Resource Institute’s Foster Care and Adoption Unit.
MEDITECH employees in Atlanta and Minnetonka are also organizing in their states, to benefit Families First and the Midtown Assistance Center in Georgia, as well as Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners in Minnesota.
“MEDITECH’s Holiday Giving program has a profound effect on the recipients, easing the financial stress and demonstrating to both children and adults that there are people out there who care about them,” said MEDITECH’s Manager of Business Development Wendy Bellew.
“Year after year, I am truly touched by the unfailing generosity and compassion of the MEDITECHers who embrace this program. It’s such a great time of year to reflect on the blessings that we have in our own lives, and reach out in a spirit of gratitude to help others. This is one of the highlights of the holidays for me.”
