MEDITECH Launches Depression Screening and Suicide Prevention Toolkit
MEDITECH's Depression Screening and Suicide Prevention Toolkit helps clinicians to identify patients with undiagnosed depression and suicide risk.
In recognition of World Mental Health Day and its focus on suicide prevention this year, MEDITECH is launching its Depression Screening and Suicide Prevention Toolkit to help your care teams identify these at-risk patients.
According to the CDC, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US, and depression — the most common condition associated with suicide — is often undiagnosed or untreated.
Our toolkit is designed using Expanse technology and built in collaboration with customers and staff clinicians. Evidence-based tools and advanced clinical decision support — embedded in clinical workflows — align with the Suicide Prevention Resource Center’s Zero Suicide Toolkit, The Joint Commission, and the CMS Quality Payment Program.
Customers, please visit our EHR Excellence Toolkit website for implementation guidance and an educational video.
