MEDITECH EVP Helen Waters Recognized Among Healthcare’s Leading Women

MEDITECH Executive Vice President Helen Waters has been selected as one of the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT by Health Data Management for the second year in a row.

For the second year in a row, MEDITECH Executive Vice President Helen Waters has been selected as one of the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT by Health Data Management. She joins just 49 other honorees recognized for their outstanding leadership as well as mentoring of women in their fields.

Helen has long advocated for EHR technologies that deliver high quality patient care without prohibitive costs. Recently, she has also led efforts to unveil MEDITECH’s new Expanse platform — a technology that addresses the challenges associated with healthcare’s transition from volume- to value-based care, as well as the increased emphasis on population health and ambulatory services. Helen’s work in supporting EHR sustainability holds the provider-patient relationship at the core of successful healthcare delivery, proving that medical professionals shouldn’t have to choose between innovation and value.

As one of many women leaders at MEDITECH, Helen's leadership style reflects the company’s longstanding commitment to cultivating and promoting talent from within, as well as recognizing the diverse contributions of women to healthcare IT.
