MEDITECH Congratulates Customers Recognized by CHIME Most Wired Program

Avera Health recognized by CHIME as an industry leader with elite level 10 status.

MEDITECH, a leading Enterprise Health Record (EHR) vendor, is pleased to celebrate its customers recently named HealthCare’s Most Wired organizations by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). Several MEDITECH customers were recognized by CHIME for their use of information technology innovation to improve patient safety and outcomes. MEDITECH customer Avera Health (Sioux Falls, SD), was one of three organizations to achieve the highest level 10 status. In order to achieve level 9 or 10 status, organizations must showcase innovative ways they are leveraging advanced technologies to deliver meaningful outcomes, such as improved quality of care and patient experience.

In addition to Avera, several MEDITECH customers were recognized by CHIME as Most Wired organizations including: Frederick Regional Health System (Frederick, MD), Lima Memorial Health System (Lima, OH), Woman’s Hospital (Baton Rouge, LA), and Doylestown Hospital (Doylestown, PA).

“Congratulations to all of our customers designated as Most Wired organizations for their efforts to help drive the industry forward with technology and innovation,” said CHIME Foundation Board Member and MEDITECH Executive Vice President Helen Waters. “Many of the MEDITECH organizations recognized this year as Most Wired are Expanse customers, which is further validation that we are leading the industry with technology that can truly transform care.”

As part of the Most Wired program, CHIME conducts an annual survey to assess how effectively healthcare organizations apply core and advanced technologies into their clinical and business programs to improve health and care in their communities.

“Healthcare organizations across the globe are continually striving to raise the standard of care, pushing themselves and their peers to do better,” said CHIME President and CEO Russ Branzell. “We designed Most Wired to identify and share those leading practices so everyone can benefit. It is an honor to be among those that perform at the highest levels, knowing that the excellence they achieve will impact patients for years to come.”
