MEDITECH Associate Vice President Cathy Turner, BSN, MBA, RN-BC will be serving on a panel at Northeastern University’s Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summit on Friday, September 29. Along with other thought leaders, Turner will be discussing how to cultivate an environment that encourages innovation among nurses working in diverse fields.

Turner is one of three experts headlining the panel on nursing in business/industry settings. She will share how her experience as the head of MEDITECH’s nursing informatics program and Nurse Advisory Committee has helped to empower nurse leaders and further our collective goals of patient safety and improved outcomes. Turner also serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Northeastern University’s Bouvé College School of Nursing (Health Sciences Health Informatics Program).
