MEDITECH AVP to Address Nurse Executives at AONE 2017

MEDITECH Associate Vice President Cathy Turner, BSN, MBA, RN-BC, will speak at the annual meeting of the American Organization for Nurse Executives (AONE), on March 31 in Baltimore, MD.

Her presentation, ‘When Every Second Counts: Leveraging Data for Early Detection and Rapid Response,’ highlights the importance of automated early detection systems and how they can impact outcomes by pushing timely information to nurses. She will also share stories of real-world impacts, including one organization that used early detection to slash its sepsis mortality nearly in half — saving lives and more than $10 million in just over one year.

A committed nurse leader, Turner heads MEDITECH’s nursing informatics program and actively serves on the Alliance for Nursing Informatics' (ANI) Governing Director Meetings, as well as the HIMSS CNO-CNIO Vendor Roundtable. The Roundtable's population health video was recently showcased at HIMSS17.
