Christina Hammond, Manager of Revenue Cycle Informatics at Adena Healthcare, presented on the integration of financial counseling for patients into the revenue cycle workflow.
Attendees also heard from Dan Burkman, director of IT financial systems from Avera Health, about the organization’s journey to MEDITECH’s new Expanse EHR, as well as Andrew Serge, director of patient access at Saratoga Hospital, who spoke on managing the relationship between patient accounts and patient access.
