Boys Town National Research Hospital Signs for MEDITECH Expanse

Boys Town executives cited the integrated EHR’s web utilities, revenue cycle and contract management system, and behavioral health platform as key components in their decision to select Expanse.

Boys Town National Research Hospital, internationally recognized as a leader in clinical and research programs that focus on childhood deafness, language development, and related communication disorders, recently signed for Expanse, MEDITECH’s web-based EHR.

"We're proud to have an organization like Boys Town moving forward with our Expanse EHR," says Executive Vice President Helen Waters. "Their commitment to improving the lives of at-risk children on a local and national level is extraordinary. And their work continues to make a difference with positive changes that are seen throughout the greater community."

Boys Town executives cited the integrated EHR’s web utilities, revenue cycle and contract management system, and behavioral health platform as key components in their decision to select Expanse.

“MEDITECH’s web-enabled platform provides a more complete EMR system for our medical staff,” says Ann Ducey, Chief Informational Officer at Boys Town Hospital. “Having all of our data on one system will improve scheduling and clinic workflows, and improve access to patient information for our providers.”

Currently operating two campuses in Nebraska (Boys Town and Omaha), Boys Town provides a range of services. These include ENT services at the Boys Town Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute, general pediatric care, orthopedic, internal medicine, pediatric gastroenterology, allergy, asthma, pediatric pulmonology, behavioral health, audiological, and ophthalmologic care. Boys Town has also developed national medical programs that are instituted in hospitals and clinics throughout the United States.
