Join us at the inaugural INTEROPen Share2Care Connectathon event, hosted by Alder Hey Children’s Hospital (Liverpool, UK).
Liverpool Region, UK
6th March @ 08:00 - 19:30 GMT
Join us at this inaugural event hosted by Alder Hey Children’s Hospital (Liverpool, UK). The INTEROPen Share2Care Connectathon is an opportunity for suppliers, NHS clinicians, and developers to collaborate on patient information exchange strategies.
As a Global Digital Exemplar (GDE), Alder Hey is also a leader in the adoption of Open Standards. Working in conjunction with INTEROPen, Alder Hey has been at the forefront of the development and implementation of the Share2Care programme, which enables clinicians to access real-time health and social information across all care settings, for more informed decision-making.
Share2Care is one way Alder Hey is helping the NHS transform care delivery. As outlined in the Five Year Forward View, this project is an example of breaking down the barriers to care by using technology to create new, sustainable care models.
The Connectathon will look at ways to accelerate the development of key areas of the Share2Care programme, using new and emerging technologies and standards, such as CareConnect APIs, GP Connect, and NHS login. Additionally, organisers will showcase the combined use of FHIR and XDS as a true testament and display of the power of open standards.
Who Should Attend
This event is intended for NHS-based software engineers, developers, product support analysts, implementation consultants, interface managers, product owners, and “techies with a heart full of FHIR.”
