She will be discussing how automated early detection systems work, what types of conditions they can prevent or mitigate, and how they’re impacting care and outcomes by pushing information to nurses with actionable evidence. 

Autumn Foy, director of clinical informatics at Onslow Memorial Hospital (Jacksonville, NC) takes the stage on Friday, March 31st at 1:15 p.m. Her session, Improving Safety and Efficiency with Mobile Clinical Communications, highlights how Onslow was able reduce the number of devices nurses carried while still maintaining the crucial data they need at their fingertips to work more efficiently and deliver safer care.

David Mader, BSN, RN, CCRN, assistant vice president of patient care services, and Linda McClarigan, CNO and vice president of patient care services at Adirondack Health (Saranac Lake, NY) provide leaders with several practical, proven strategies to ensure successful implementation of a shared governance practice structure, during their session Implementing Shared Governance in a Rural Healthcare System on Saturday, April 1st at 9:15 a.m.
