The primary role of the Promotional Writer, Content, Branding and Digital Marketing position is to develop creative marketing strategies and execute them through email, websites, blogs, social media, event materials, and other content types. Must be knowledgeable about drawing conclusions from analytics which help shape the customer experience, drive business, and support MEDITECH’s brand identity. As a member of our Sales and Marketing team, your job would involve:

  • Drawing conclusions from website analytics and proactively suggesting strategies for improvement

  • Assisting with increasing SEO

  • Helping optimize MEDITECH’s website, blog, landing pages, and messaging via A/B and multivariate tests and other methods

  • Creating outstanding content, including blog posts, web campaigns, emails, web content, event materials, and executive presentations

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of a corporate blog and editorial calendar

  • Providing post-campaign reports detailing KPIs and recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborating on projects with other marketing groups, sales representatives, executives, and technology groups

  • Staying current with digital marketing trends and making recommendations on tools, processes, project ideas, etc.

  • Contributing to quarterly and annual digital marketing analytics reports

  • Maintaining brand identity through company-wide best practices

  • Interacting with executives and presenting high level marketing projects to various stakeholders

What You Should Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business

  • 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing and/or blogging

  • Samples of high level messaging and branding experience, such as ads, tradeshow banners, corporate web pages, etc. 

  • Ad or creative agency experience a plus

  • Strong marketing writing and analytical skills

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new products, government regulations, and/or healthcare issues and create effective messaging

  • Some experience using marketing automation tools

  • Some experience using Google Analytics or other website analytics tools

  • Experience publishing articles using a Content Management System (i.e., Drupal, Wordpress, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SEO/keyword strategies and experience in applying that knowledge

  • General knowledge of B2B marketing strategies

  • Aptitude for web tools and passion for researching and quickly learn new marketing technologies

  • Knowledge of presentation writing tools, such as Prezzi, a plus

  • Possession of an extremely proactive, positive, energetic approach in a fast-paced, agency-like environment
