Product Manager - Oncology Content

The primary goal of the Product Manager - Oncology Content position is to work with clinicians to develop and maintain a library of standard dictionary content that is provided to our customers as part of the Electronic Health Record Implementation. As a member of our Client Services team, your job would involve:

  • Working directly with physicians and clinicians to gather and maintain content, as well as determine workflow impacts (including - treatment plans, order sets, physician documentation templates, nursing assessments, status boards, flowsheets, protocols, pharmacy strings, clinical decision support rules, etc.)

  • Performing audits to compare content changes made by our customers to current standard content and review for inclusion in our standard source

  • Staying abreast of industry drivers that impact content, such as ARRA Meaningful use, Code of Conduct, Clinical Decision Support and working to incorporate it into the standard content

  • Developing internal and external trainings related to content, implementation guides and style guides

  • Interacting directly with customers (remotely and otherwise) who are implementing standard content, in conjunction with the application groups, to monitor effectiveness and opportunities for improvement

  • Maintaining, in conjunction with vendor partners, documentation on content development, past changes and future changes

  • Continually identifying and implementing improvements to the existing standard content

  • Working closely with other vendor content providers (National Comprehensive Cancer Network, American Joint Commission on Cancer, First Databank, Zynx, etc.) and other groups involved with content development to ensure consistency and tight integration

  • Assisting in development of content related to the Electronic Health Record outcome-based toolkits

What You Should Have
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree, or relevant military experience

  • Clinical experience with certification such as BCOP, OCP, CPhT, PA, NP, RN

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Proven organizational skills

  • Solid understanding of physician and clinician workflow, especially in oncology care setting

  • Ability to organize meetings with our content vendors and synthesize information

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Strong training skills
